Sergio Paul, who composes under the name Vaughan Sankofa, is an aspiring game, film, and media composer, as well as audio engineer and sound designer. He recently debuted as an artist on all streaming platforms with his first two EPs of original music, one being a concept OST and the other having a multi-genre focus. He studies at Temple University, where he develops a range of audio and music related skills, and creates exceptional work, such as his 5 part string orchestral piece written and played by the Temple University Community Orchestra. Currently, he is working on composing and designing audio for a number of student films.

​Sergio is a classically trained violinist who has been playing music for over 11 years. He has spent years sitting in the midst of high-level orchestras, and has developed a love for orchestral sound. He also developed a similar love for game and film soundtracks growing up, and noticed the many similarities that existed between the two genres. In composing, he seeks to bridge the gap between contemporary/traditional instrumental music and the soundtrack genre, to change the way that listeners view soundtrack as a genre of music.
